Emergency Appeal for Jihad and Her Children

Walaa is a mother of two young children, currently two months pregnant and surviving with her family on the beach in Deir al-Balah, Gaza. Her husband was taken by Israeli forces, leaving her alone, hungry, and without support.

They have no food, no income, no shelter – and every day is a struggle to survive.

She’s pregnant, caring for two little ones, and sleeping by the sea with nothing but hope.

We are raising funds urgently to help Jihad buy food, basic necessities, and hopefully find safer shelter.

I have just transfered the remaning funds to Walaa today which was $144. So far I have sent her $750 from her campaign after the platform fees have been deducted. Of all my campaigns this one has struggled the most. I guess because older children seem to get overlooked alot more. Walaa tells me she is in debt to alot of people because her campaign has been so slow 🙁 If you can share this campaign with friends or go to her Instagram page @walaa.adnan23 and help share her content and posts on there it could help her get more donations! We’ve just sent Wala her second campaign payout — $166 — and I personally added $44 to round it up to $200. Every dollar matters, but in Gaza right now, even $200 doesn’t stretch far. With no aid entering for the past three months, food prices are astronomical — one kilo of flour can cost up to $35, and even simple things like pasta are shockingly expensive.

Still, Wala is incredibly grateful. In the middle of unimaginable hardship, your donations are bringing her relief and a sense of hope. Thank you.

Wala’s daughter has also been very sick lately and recently had a fever. I’ll be checking in to see how she’s doing and will keep you posted.

Thanks to your generous donations, Ihab and her children have just received their first payout of $213. With this support, she was finally able to buy some food and baby formula from the market — a moment of relief after weeks of hardship.

But the reality on the ground in Gaza is devastating.

Due to extreme inflation and shortages:

A can of baby milk now costs $100 Just 1kg of flour is $35 What should have been enough for a full month of food may only last a few days.
